Rare Beatles Amplifier Up for Auction

The rare Vox UL730 that was used in recording the Revolver album and Sgt. Pepper's Sessions will be up for auction next month by Bonhams, a privately owned British auction house.

The amplifier was used by the late George Harrison and is expected to bring in between $80,000 and $100,000 when it opens for bidding December 15.

Harvey Weinstein wants many things, but among these wants is transforming his already Oscar-winning production studio into a brand everybody recognizes.

While he says he will continue to use the "the black and white logo that looks like it's from high school in 1954," he's letting his films this week do the talking — or at least one of them.

Already in theaters is "My Week with Marilyn," starring two-time Oscar nominee Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe. It's based on the writings of Colin Clark, who spent a week with the iconic actress in 1957 while she was filming "The Prince and the Showgirl" in the United Kingdom.

His infectious charm in spite of that setback has been a textbook case of inspiration--not to mention the fact that he had to relearn to walk, but still managed to be the most adept dancer of the season.

Then again, according to Kris Jenner, her son is a motivational figure of sorts. "He entered this competition as a boy," Jenner has told the cameras repeatedly. "What I see now is this man." Hmm… one would think graduating from USC two years ago would be a bigger watershed in his life, but for a family constantly captured by cameras for a living, perhaps this is a more important accomplishment

'G.I. Joe' Sequel Crew Member Killed On Set

A crew member working on the set of the film, G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation was killed in an accident involving what is called a scissor lift. The said crew member was dismantling the set when the machine tipped over, severely injuring the person.

Paramount released a statement saying, "Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the [crew member's] family at this time."

The statement continues, "The safety of our cast and crew is our top priority and the studio is fully cooperating with all investigating agencies as they examine the circumstances surrounding this unusual accident.”

Hustler's Larry Flynt Offers $10,000 to Capture Employee's Killer

Larry Hughes, long-time employee of Hustler and apparently a good friend of its founder Larry Flynt, was killed at a hit-and-run incident by what sources describe as a white Ford Mustang. Flynt is offering $10,000 to help expedite the killer's capture.

The rep tells us, "It is unconscionable that a human being could strike a man down and simply drive away ... We are committed to helping to find the person responsible and seeing that he or she is brought to justice."

In addition to offering a reward, Flynt is urging anyone with any information to contact the LAPD stat.

Drugs, Alcohol Found in Conrad Hilton's Car

Paris Hilton's teenaged brother Conrad Hilton--who last weekend crashed into another car--was found to be driving with wine bottles and marijuana.

Hilton left the scene after exchanging information before cops arrived on scene.  Cops revealed Hilton would not be cited or arrested.   And Hilton's dad, Rick, told TMZ the accident occurred as his son tried to avoid a dog in the road.

But now we've obtained photos of Hilton's car after the crash, which show a bottle of medical cannabis, zig zag papers and 2 unopened wine bottles.

Is Courtney Love Actually Insane?

Further, getting an entire audience to chant "The Foo Fighters are gay" is not only entirely out of left-field and bizarre, but also completely childish and not a little offensive. We understand that people who use the term "gay" negatively frequently don't literally mean homosexual, but using the term in this context, to such a large audience, is both irresponsible and offensive. Could she not have used "shit" or something instead? Language issues aside, the whole incident is an embarrassment. Is she really upset with Dave Grohl over financial issues? Or is she jealous that his band is bigger than hers? Why else get thousands of people to chant negative stuff about Grohl's entire band and not just him?

Kim Kardashian Sues Publicist For Calling Her Wedding a Sham

Kim Kardashian is suing one named Jonathan Jaxson, who says he was Kim's former publicist, for calling her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries a huge sham.

In fact, Kardashian has hired lawyer Marty Singer to seek $200,000 in damages.

On Friday, Jaxson told "Good Day L.A." that he worked for the E! reality star from 2007 to 2009 and that the marriage was staged.

Kardashian claims that Jaxson worked for her on only one project — a blog — and that he is in violation of a signed confidentiality document.

On his personal blog, Jaxson released the following statement over the weekend: "To the best of my knowledge, I have never signed an agreement dealing with confidentiality with Kim Kardashian. I have an agreement in my possession that does not have either (party's) signature on it."

A query for comment from Kardashian's publicity team by TheWrap has not yet been responded to.

While Wesley Snipes is currently serving a three-year prison term for failing to pay his taxes, that does not stop American Express from suing him for allegedly failing to pay his credit card bill amounting to $29,343.03, plus interest.

Snipes racked up the said credit card debt and failed to settle it before he went to prison.

Ironically, Snipes was one of the most famous endorsers of Amex.

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas Grace Charity Gala Dinner

Catherine Zeta-Jones, along with husband Michael Douglas and father-in-law Kirk walked the red carpet at a charity gala in New York hosted by the Children of Chernobyl (CCOC) charity.

Kirk was honoured at the event - and presented with an award by his son Michael, who is in recovery after battling throat cancer last year.

Actresses Dakota and Elle Fanning were also honoured in recognition of their support for the charity.
