Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher's "Cryptic" Thanksgiving Tweets

After about a week of Twitter silence since the announcement of divorce, both Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher broke the silence within hours of each other.

Ashton tweeted on Thursday: "I’m thankful for family, friends, you, & time to reach my potential. What are you thankful for?"

A few hours later, Demi tweeted: "Why do we have only 1 day for giving thanks? Is that why so many people feel unappreciated? Make this 1 of 365 days of Thanksgiving!"

On November 17, she released a statement: 'It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton," says Moore in a statement.





'As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life.

'This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation.'

The couple's split came two months after Kutcher was alleged to have cheated on the actress with party girl Sara Leal.

Speaking this week, Leal insisted the fling with Kutcher in a San Diego hotel wasn't to blame for the breakdown in their marriage.
