The Dark Knight Rises is expected to lean closer to its predecessor's numbers at the box office when it hits theatres on July 20, 2012.
The latest - and some say final - film in the franchise stars Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway.
