Guy Ritchie on "Soap Opera Marriage" with Madonna: "No Regrets"

Guy Ritchie recently told an interviewer that he enjoyed his first marriage with Madonna and did not regret it.

'The experience was ultimately very positive. I love the kids that came out of it, and I could see no other route to take. But you move on, don't you?'

He expands on why his marriage to the 53-year-old singer didn't work out.





'I stepped into a soap opera, and I lived in it for quite a long time. I'll probably be more eloquent on it ten years from now,' he says.

At the end of the day, the Sherlock Holmes director says he learned a lot from Madonna.

'When you end up with a lot of the things you set out to chase and find that you've stumbled into all sorts of hollow victories, then you become deeply philosophical,' he said.

Guy Ritchie is now with girlfriend model Jacqui Ainsley, while Madonna is currently dating 24-year-old dude named Ibrahim Zaibat.
