Selena Gomez has cancelled two consecutive gigs after learning of a certain "family emergency" that compelled her to go home like a whipped poodle.
Selena learned of the family emergency on Friday night while in the audience at Power 106's Cali Christmas 2011 concert in Los Angeles.
She had been due to perform last night at the B96 Jingle Bash 2011 at the Allstate Arena outside of Chicago.
She was also due to perform tonight at 106.1 KISS FM's Jingle Bell Bash at the WaMu Theater in Seattle.
Now the entire Seattle concert has had to be postponed after OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder was also forced to pull out after doctors ordered him to rest his vocals.
The Wizards of Waverly Place star is next scheduled to perform at MTV's New Year's Eve party, hosted by Demi Lovato and Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey.

Brittany Murphy's Mom Sues Her Former Lawyers over "Toxic Mold"
Brittany Murphy's mom Sharon believes it was toxic mold present in the house that killed her daughter in 2009, and which also claimed her son-in-law's life some months later. She's furious as apparently, her lawyers at the time misled her into not pursuing the damage claims she could have gotten from the house builders.
Long story short -- Sharon says her lawyers convinced her to accept a settlement offer for the construction defects back in January ... but they failed to explain she would never be able to go after the builders for their alleged role in Brittany's death.
Now, Sharon has hired Michael Marzban to sue her former lawyers for legal malpractice -- and wants them to pay her what she could have won in a wrongful death suit ... and other damages.

Adele Escapes London to Protect Her Voice
Awesome person Adele, so young yet so rich and with award-winning music albums tucked to her stomach flabs, is leaving London to move to the countryside because doctors scared the shit out of her by saying, "You see that London smog? It means bye-bye to your golden voice if you don't leave the fuck now."
The 23-year-old is reportedly looking for a new home in West Sussex, to aid her recovery from throat surgery for a hemorrhaged vocal cord last month.
It is an ironic twist of fate, considering Adele's first hit in 2007, Chasing Pavements, included the lyric: 'I like it in the city when the air is so thick and opaque.'
Tottenham-born Adele is said to be looking at properties priced between £2 and £3million.
The singer was operated on in Massachusetts by the same US doctor who treated Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler.

In the wake of his magazine's disappointing sales, Hugh Hefner now says he pushed for more "artsy nudity," but Lindsay Lohan's people just kept getting in the way and stopping them from doing it.
"She had done semi-nudes before. I wanted to do something that would be memorable. So what is more natural, since she is a huge fan of Marilyn Monroe, than to do something that is a tribute to the red-velvet, Tom Kelley photo shot of Marilyn Monroe that was our very first Playmate?" he says.
Although Hefner said he initially had "mixed emotions" about the actress being their cover girl, he says the outcome — and the publicity surrounding it — has reached beyond his expectations.
"I think it was accomplished beyond anything I could have possibly imagined," he said."People will not forget this pictorial."

Lindsay Lohan was spotted shopping her heart out at Barney's in Beverly Hills, just a few hours after her Playboy magazines with her on the cover hit newsstands.
Unfortunately, Lindsay's much-talked Playboy spread doesn't seem to be winning over as many fans as the magazine's executives had hoped for.
Holiday shoppers are not rushing out to pick up copies of the magazine and so far sales have been underwhelming.
Playmate of the Year 2010 Hope Dworaczyk has also come out saying she thinks Lindsay's photos are a bit of a let down.
