Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher's Life through Twitter

As Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher's marriage has now come to a presumably bitter and costly divorce, we look back at how the couple lived life in a glass house through their Tweets since 2009.

A couple of months after signing up on Twitter in 2009, Ashton Kutcher posted this picture of his wife with the caption, "Sssh don't tell wifey."

 He added: 'Watching my wife steam my suit while wearing a bikini. I love God!'

The intimate Demi Moore picture gave people a candid glimpse into the private lives of celebrity. In no time, Ashton became the first person to have 1 million followers on Twitter.

Ashton and Demi also loved flaunting their relationship by engaging in what they call a "Twitter conversation": writing messages on their hands while sitting in different rooms of their house.

The couple posted this picture on Twitter saying how they spent their fifth anniversary last year just watching movies in bed.

This July 2011 picture of the couple enjoying a fishing holiday was the very last photo Demi Moore posted of them together.

Demi continued to post pictures of the couple in happier days on various holidays and around the home. Her last picture of them together was in July during a fishing trip. The first hint that something was amiss was just a couple of days after their sixth wedding anniversary in late September.

The first hint of trouble appeared a few days after their 6th anniversary in September, with Demi Moore posting this "cryptic" photo of her with the caption, "I see through you."

Demi posted a self-portrait of herself in bed with her eyes closed, with the caption 'I see through you.' It later emerged that the couple spent their anniversary apart, and the sensational allegations that Kutcher had cheated on her during a hedonistic night in a San Diego hotel room with 23-year-old Sara Leal quickly hit the headlines. Kutcher attempted to refute the rumours by tweeting: 'When you ASSUME to know that which you know nothing of you make an ASS out of U and ME'.

After news of Demi Moore filing for divorce, Ashton posts this.

Kutcher quickly followed this with his own message, posted on his Twitter page. He wrote: 'I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. 'Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK.'

Now, since the divorce announcement, both Demi and Kutcher have been silent on Twitter. Demi Moore may have to change her Twitter handler, which is currently 'mrskutcher.'
